We don’t really like to use the term ‘followers’ but it does help us to explain a little more about how things work on the Looker app.
Looker is a fashion community first and foremost. So, step one in getting the community to engage with your style is to share it. Clear, bright images of your outfits that show how a garment fits you and what you’ve paired it with. Once you start sharing, you can then be added to other Looker’s Style Teams.
If you click on the dashboard in the Me section of the app that you’ll be able to see the number of Style Teams you’ve been added to. This is the total number of users who’ve decided to follow your style because they want to see more from you. There’s no limit to the number of teams you can be added to. The more often you post, the more your style will get seen.
As with your own personal Team, other Lookers will be able to make changes to their Teams at any time. The best way to ensure you don’t lose any followers is to post individual looks regularly. Rather than bulk uploading from your camera roll, just take 5 minutes to upload and tag your latest outfit every few days. Snap a quick picture when you try things on in a fitting room or take a quick mirror selfie before you head out.
We show the latest uploads at the top of the New On feed to make sure anyone opening Looker sees the freshest content every time they take a look at the app.
